Assoc. Prof. Teekayu Plangkoon, DDS, MDSc, PhD, F.R.C.D.T. is an Associate Professor in Orofacial Pain at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Khon Kaen University, followed by a Master of Dental Science in Oral Biology from The University of Queensland, Australia, and a PhD in Orofacial Pain from Barts and The London Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry, United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Thailand (F.R.C.D.T.) in Occlusion and Orofacial Pain. Prof. Plangkoon serves as Director of the Occlusion and Orofacial Pain Residency Training Program at Khon Kaen University and has held several leadership positions, including President of the Thai Society of Oral Diagnostic Science (TSODS) and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Oral Medicine and Pain. His clinical, educational, and research interests focus on orofacial pain, occlusion, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), and dental sleep medicine.
